Champagne - Fabien Bergeronneau

Fabien Bergeronneau, a young winemaker from Ville-Dommange and part of the Bergeronneau family’s newest generation, is carrying on the Champagne legacy founded by his ancestors. With a deep respect for tradition and a commitment to advancing the family’s techniques, Fabien’s work reflects his dedication to the long-term success and evolution of the family estate.
Following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, Fabien pursued formal training in viticulture and oenology, gaining hands-on experience in Alsace and with his uncle’s estate. These experiences broadened his understanding and appreciation for varied vineyard approaches, which he has brought back to Ville-Dommange. Fabien shares his family’s commitment to sustainable practices, emphasizing minimal chemical intervention and cultivating biodiversity across the estate. Like his sister Virginie, he is deeply involved in each phase of the winemaking process, but his focus remains on preserving the family’s historic brand, Champagne F. Bergeronneau-Marion, through traditional methods. The family estate, covering 15 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards, is renowned for its diverse cuvées crafted with Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. Each bottle under Fabien’s stewardship embodies the distinct terroir of the Montagne de Reims, honoring the estate’s heritage while anticipating the tastes of a new generation. Fabien’s work ensures that the Bergeronneau name will continue to resonate as a symbol of excellence in the Champagne region.
