Champagne - Romain Tribaut

Champagne Romain Tribaut is a testament to over a century of winemaking heritage in the heart of the Marne Valley. Established by Léon Tribaut in the 1890s and nurtured by four generations since, this Champagne house brings together tradition and innovation, crafting Champagnes with unique character and deep respect for the terroir.
Rooted in the vineyards of Romery and Cormoyeux near Épernay, Champagne Romain Tribaut embodies the passion and expertise of the Tribaut family, each generation building upon the last. Léon’s son, Roger, balanced managing the family vineyards while serving as head of the prestigious Maison Lanson’s vineyards, a dual commitment that spanned over three decades. Michel Tribaut expanded this legacy in the 1980s, growing the estate’s reputation and reach.
In 2015, Romain Tribaut revived his grandfather’s traditional winemaking methods, focusing on the unique qualities of the Meunier grape. To honor this tradition, he invested in advanced thermoregulated stainless-steel tanks alongside Burgundian oak barrels, with 70% of the Champagne vinified in barrels and the rest in steel. This dedication to craftsmanship is embodied in three exceptional cuvées: Pure Meunier, Pure Chardonnay, and Pure Meunier Zéro Dosage, each crafted in 100% barrels. This partnership with Europe Inspired introduces these exquisite Champagnes to the US, sharing the family’s heritage and the unique terroir of Marne with a new audience, ready to experience Champagne at its finest.
